Attractive commission structure
We’re recruiting for a standout Sales Manager to take ownership of weddings and events revenue for a high-end destination venue.
This is not a reactive “wait for enquiries” role. You’ll be expected to drive business by building relationships, creating opportunities, and converting high-value bookings in a competitive market.
If you’ve sold weddings, events, or premium hospitality experiences before and want to step into a more aspirational environment, this is worth a serious look.
The Role:
As Sales Manager you will take full responsibility for driving weddings and events revenue across the venue.
- Proactively generate new business through outreach, networking, partnerships, and events.
- Handle and convert inbound enquiries to a high standard.
- Build relationships with planners, corporates, and local and national networks.
- Attend showcases, exhibitions, and industry events.
- Manage the full sales cycle from first contact to confirmed booking.
- Work closely with operations to ensure a seamless client experience.
- Own your pipeline, targets, and performance.
Your responsibilities as Commercial Manager
- Leading fee and contract discussions with local authorities
- Building financial models that actually get used
- Turning numbers into clear, persuasive commercial cases
- Working closely with Ops, Finance, and senior leadership
- Spotting risks early and doing something about them
What We’re Looking For in the Sales Manager:
- Proven experience selling weddings, events, or premium hospitality packages.
- Strong closer who is confident converting high-value bookings.
- Commercial mindset with a clear focus on revenue and targets.
- Proactive approach to winning business, not reliant on inbound leads.
- Polished communicator who can deal with high-end clientele.
- Organised and accountable with solid pipeline management.
You may already be working in a venue, hotel, or events business, or looking to step up into a more premium environment.
The Offer:
- £45,000 to £50,000 basic salary
- Attractive commission structure
- Opportunity to sell a genuinely high-quality product
- Autonomy to build and grow your own pipeline
- Supportive, performance-driven environment
