£80,000 to £85,000 pro rata (plus performance-based bonus)

The global network for women who work with or in the meat and food supply chain is looking for a Managing Director to oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring exceptional value to delivery partners and operations efficiency.
Operating in the UK, Ireland, and Australia, they collaborate with over 50 commercial partners and are recognised by the United Nations as contributing to Sustainable Development Goal 5.
This is a part-time role (flexible hours) with a fixed term of two years, ideal for someone seeking work-life balance while making a significant global impact.

As Managing Director, your responsibilities will include:
- Coaching and supporting a small team, fostering collaboration and high performance.
- Leading daily operations, enhancing accountability and process efficiency.
- Ensuring governance structures and risk management plans support sustainable growth.
- Collaborating with the Chair and Board to align operational plans with long-term goals.
- Overseeing financial planning and budgeting, ensuring revenue targets are met.
- Providing insights through financial modelling and analysis to inform strategic decisions.
- Ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations.
- Evaluating and allocating resources effectively to maximise impact and efficiency.
- Designing and managing workflows to enhance operational delivery and productivity.
- Exceptional relationship building by cultivating and maintaining strong partnerships with clients, stakeholders and industry leaders, fostering trust and collaboration that leads to mutual success and ongoing business development.
- Managing online systems for seamless revenue tracking and operational efficiency.
- Identifying opportunities to leverage technology for process enhancement and revenue generation.
We’re looking for a Managing Director with:
- A proven track record in senior leadership roles focused on operational delivery and commercial growth.
- Strong expertise in budgeting and financial management.
- Proven experience in coaching and developing high-performing teams.
- Familiarity with online systems to support operational processes.
- Knowledge of governance, legal, and regulatory frameworks.
- Willingness to engage in hands-on execution and problem-solving.
