Commercial Manager – Children’s Services - Birmingham

Full-time, permanent
Hybrid working: 2–3 days in the office
£50,000 - £60,000 per annum

Your responsibilities as Commercial Manager
  • Leading fee and contract discussions with local authorities
  • Building financial models that actually get used
  • Turning numbers into clear, persuasive commercial cases
  • Working closely with Ops, Finance, and senior leadership
  • Spotting risks early and doing something about them

What we’re looking for in a Commercial Manager
  • Previous experience in pricing, commercial finance, or contract management
  • Strong Excel and financial modelling capability
  • Experience negotiating contracts within regulated or public sector environments
  • Understanding of frameworks, commissioning, or service-based contracts
  • Ability to present commercial data clearly to non-financial stakeholders
