Admissions Officer / Manager

Weekly meetings in Rustington, West Sussex
Working mostly from home / covering schools across South of England
Full-time, permanent
£50,000 per annum + strong benefits package

As Admissions Officer/Manager, this is your chance to directly influence how and when children access the education they need.

You won’t just manage a process here; you’ll drive outcomes, remove barriers, and make placements happen where they matter most. This is a role for someone who knows how to build momentum, create opportunities, and turn referrals into life-changing placements.

You will largely be working from home and will necessitate a meeting in Rustington once a week/fortnight, as well as travelling to schools across the south of England.

What’s in it for you
  • Salary up to £50,000 with a strong benefits package
  • A high-impact role where your work directly improves children’s outcomes
  • Opportunity to join a growing organisation with clear expansion plans
  • Real influence over referrals, placements, and occupancy performance
  • Long-term progression as the organisation scales and evolves
  • Involvement in new school openings and growth initiatives

Your responsibilities as Admissions Officer/Manager:
  • Manage the full admissions journey from initial enquiry through to confirmed placement
  • Build and maintain strong referral pipelines with Local Authorities and commissioners
  • Work closely with schools and stakeholders to secure appropriate, timely placements
  • Support occupancy targets by converting referrals into placements effectively
  • Lead and support a direct report to ensure smooth admissions operations
  • Use CRM systems and data insights to track performance and improve outcomes

What we’re looking for in an Admissions Officer/Manager:
  • Previous experience within education, SEND, or children’s services
  • Background in admissions, referrals, placements, or pipeline management
  • Experience working with Local Authorities or external commissioning bodies
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capability
  • Confidence using CRM systems and interpreting performance data
If you’re an Admissions Officer/Manager ready to take ownership of a role where outcomes truly matter, apply now and be part of something that changes live.
